My project is called, "A Busy Bus Ride" which is a soundscape showing what inside a busy bus can sound like. I used sounds of footsteps overlapping, bus arriving and leaving, bus door opening and closing, bus breaking, a phone ringing and someone answering, "Hello?", honking, general chatter from inside the bus, and a background music of a soft jazz from YouTube. I mixed all these sounds to make a story of a bus during rush hour.
For my project for soundscape, I did a busy bus ride. I played with many sounds from footsteps to the bus honking on the street. Although, I wish I used personal sounds instead of the sounds I've used from CapCut. This project sparked my creativity and was really fun to do. I did this project by myself, since it was a quick 20-30 minute project to do. I started this project during class but when I opened it at home, I lost all my progress! I thought I saved everything but I guess not. I finished or re-did the project at home which too me a extra 20 minutes but I'm not upset entirely because it gave me a chance to open my mind better and add sounds I wasn't originally going to use. As a result, it helped me better my project and make it sound better.
